Michael Russo was an engineering student at Ohio State University in 1941 when Pearl Harbor was attacked and he left school to
join the Army Air Corps. After returning home as a WWII Mustang Ace he continued to pursue his dreams, successfully patenting
plastic chain and many other plastic product ideas. In 1960 he founded MR Products, the parent company of Mr. Chain. Starting
with just his family's small savings and his plastic chain patents, he worked hard to grow his company into a successful American manufacturer of plastic chain and plastic stanchions.
In 2006 Michael Russo passed away, leaving his company and his legacy to his family. For nearly 50 years our company has been
committed to the ideas of our founder, with a focus on innovative quality products and superior customer service.
